Remember the sweater? Remember the cute little song? It was always a beautiful day in Mr. Rogers’ neighborhood. And no matter who you were, you were invited to be his neighbor. Life can be a lot more complicated than Mr. Roger’s idyllic neighborhood. Whether it’s a relationship with your parents, your friends or a stranger, Jesus’ call to “love your neighbor” has huge implications.
Much of the New Testament narrative of Jesus’ ministry takes place “by the water.” He calls his disciples, casts out demons, raises the dead, and feeds the 5,000, all on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. In this series we will look at five narratives that take place by the water and that eventually lead Jesus to Jerusalem and the cross.

God cares about the people who come into this place. He sent his son so that we can have a fresh start. We all have done sinful things and have disconnected at times from God, and sometimes we don’t think we can navigate back to him, or we believe we will be judged and condemned. However, He provided us the opportunity to have a completely fresh start.
