Remember the sweater? Remember the cute little song? It was always a beautiful day in Mr. Rogers’ neighborhood. And no matter who you were, you were invited to be his neighbor. Life can be a lot more complicated than Mr. Roger’s idyllic neighborhood. Whether it’s a relationship with your parents, your friends or a stranger, Jesus’ call to “love your neighbor” has huge implications.
Much of the New Testament narrative of Jesus’ ministry takes place “by the water.” He calls his disciples, casts out demons, raises the dead, and feeds the 5,000, all on the shores of the Sea of Galilee.
