Disconnected

Do you ever feel alone? Do you desire to have real relationships that you can share your life with? The reality is that we all long for these kind of friends. Join us for a new two-week series called “Disconnected” as we explore ways to get connected to others and build relationships.

Intervention

We are starting a new series this weekend called Intervention. The series is based on the Old Testament book of Jonah. Jonah is great drama. It involves a man on the run, life-threatening situations, difficult decisions, and a surprise ending – and yes, a big fish! Most important, this little book (four chapters) has some profound things to say about a God who, out of his great love for us, is willing to “intervene” in our lives. Wherever you are in your own spiritual journey, we’re convinced you’ll find hope and help from Jonah.

A Better Than Perfect Christmas

In 1965 a half-hour Christmas show entitled A Charlie Brown Christmas first appeared on TV. Appointed director of the holiday school pageant, Charlie Brown ventures out with Linus to buy the perfect artificial Christmas tree. Instead they bring back a pathetic little tree…a real one. The whole experience leaves Charlie Brown feeling depressed and lonely…some of the same emotions that many of us feel as we navigate through the demands of a season driven by shopping, parties and expectations that often go unmet. Join us for a three-week series entitled “A Better Than Perfect Christmas” as we look at what it means to be real in a world preoccupied with the pursuit of perfection.

Shortcuts

We’ve all made some pretty dumb decisions in our lives. For most of us there are chapters in the past we would like to rewrite. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to reverse the bad decisions of the past. But there is certainly no reason to repeat them either. Join us for a 4-part series entitled “Shortcuts” which focuses our attention on one question that has the power to fool proof our decision making from this point forward.

So What?

What difference does the resurrection make? Does it really matter? How does it impact the way you live your life on a daily basis? Even people who believe Jesus rose from the grave on the third day sometimes have difficulty articulating its relevancy to their lives. So whether you are a follower of Christ or are still examining His claims, join us this Easter as we explore the significance of the resurrection and celebrate the difference it can make in your life.

Questions

Do you have questions about God? Questions about how God is at work in the world? Questions about how God is at work in your life? You’re not alone. God often works in ways that are baffling and confusing to us. Sometimes it leaves us with unanswered questions, wonder and doubt. We’d like to know the kind of questions you think about. Not so we can provide easy answers, but just to better understand what you’re dealing with.

Welcome To The Planet

Join us for the next two weeks as we welcome home our missionaries and mission partners who come “home” for ten days from the places they serve around the world. We are going to hear encouraging stories of transformation and learn how we are making a difference across the globe.

Soundtrack

Music is a powerful force in our culture. It reflects our values, influences our behavior and reveals the issues we are facing. Join us for a four-week series called “Soundtrack” as we look at four songs impacting pop culture viewed through the lens of scripture. We will focus on the music of Ingrid Michaelson, Linkin Park, John Mayer, and Five For Fighting. So bring a friend, listen to the tunes and open your heart for something more.

Image Is Everything

What kind of car do you drive? What neighborhood do you live in? Where do you shop? Sometimes it can difficult to get past the message that “Image is Everything.” But where does your self esteem really come from? Join us as we talk about your self worth and how God sees each one of us.

Rules of Engagement

We so often miss out on God’s best because we long (or others long for us) to be at a different place in life. Whatever our status (single, married, parent, widowed, divorced), this is the day that the Lord has made. Only when we are “fully present” in this day will we experience joy and gladness. Join us for a five week series on relationships.
