God moves in every area of our lives to fortify our dependence on Him. Through every season and circumstance that we call on the name of the Lord, He responds. God moves, not so we can have more of Him, but so we will move, and He may have more of us.

A lot of times we put a negative connotation on the idea of “ritual.” But as we approach Christmas, we surround ourselves with those things that we’ve done year after year. This year, as we approach the celebration of Christ’s birth, we’re going to look at rituals we find comfort in as a community of Christ followers.

At its core, Christmas is the celebration of “presence.” The incarnation reveals the importance God places on being fully present. When was the last time you were fully present? Fully present with your family? …at work? …in worship? …in prayer? It’s easy to show up. It’s harder to be present.

It happens every four years. The two parties nominate their candidate for President. Most people decide which candidate they will support well before they cast their vote, but not all. Some remain undecided until the last possible moment. But eventually they have to make a decision, it’s unavoidable.

What does it mean to worship? Is it just singing a song? Or is there more to it than that? In this 6-week series we’ll explore what the Bible says about worship and how we can worship the eternal King.

Much of the New Testament narrative of Jesus’ ministry takes place “by the water.” He calls his disciples, casts out demons, raises the dead, and feeds the 5,000, all on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. In this series we will look at five narratives that take place by the water and that eventually lead Jesus to Jerusalem and the cross.

The emerging generation of Christians who find themselves in a decidedly post-Christian culture are called to be restorers. They are called to join with God in mission to deal with the destructiveness of sin and restore the world to that which it was created to be. Join us, as we look at the whole Gospel and better understand what it means to proclaim it and live it out.

Doubt is often the “dirty little secret” that Christians don’t want to talk about or admit that they deal with. So what is doubt? Doubt is the soil out of which faith grows. In light of this, how do we walk by faith?
