For the ones who have fallen on hard times. For the tattered and the torn. Those who have been forgotten. For the ones that have run out of second chances, burnt every bridge, and hit rock bottom… You are never too dirty, never too deep, never too far, to find hope, find relief, find redemption.

Weekly Elements

Redemption - Week 1 Audio - Redemption

Catherine lead Defy Ventures, an entrepreneurial training program that helps ex-cons to start their own companies. She has helped start over 80 businesses. The stories are some of the best turn-around stories in America. Men convicted of murder, armed robbery, selling drugs, who now are business owners, great husbands and dads, and in many cases have become followers of Jesus Christ. Not only will Catherine be here, but so will some of the student-entrepreneurs that are in the program. We will tell some of their stories as well. It’s going to be a powerful weekend and set the tone for the entire series.

Redemption - Week 2 Audio - Murder on the Nile

Moses kills a man. Most people forget that our first introduction to Moses in the Bible is the story of him killing an Egyptian. In fear for his own life, he then goes on the run. A strange beginning for the guy who God ends up using to lead a nation and define what it means to live by faith. Key Scripture: Exodus 2:11-25

Redemption - Week 3 Audio - Restoring the Family

Have you ever watched the news catching a story about a heinous act--how could someone commit such an act of sin? Our first thought is that we could never do such a thing. This thought process leaves us vulnerable- unable to admit to our own temptations as humans. We each have the capacity for profound failure. Consider the story of David – a man whose temptation led to many sinful acts including murder. We all have temptations..it is important to remember that God’s love for us is not based on condemnation but on redemption – just as it was with David. We are told in John 3:17 that God sent his son into this world to save us, not condemn us. We need to also remember this as we reach out to others in need. We must love as Christ does without accusation but instead with redeeming grace. Key Scripture: 2 Samuel 11 & 12, John 3:16-17

Redemption - Week 4 Audio - I Never Knew Him

Peter Denies Jesus. This mistake is colossal given that Peter is the “rock” of the future church. There’s a great tie-in with the “Feed my sheep” which seems to be the redemptive moment. Key Scripture: John 18:15-18, 25-27, John 21:15-19

Awesome, great job.
The “Promo Graphics” cannot be downloaded. Only a file of 1 KB instead of 657.83 MB. How can we download the package?

Blessings,
Michel M.

The Video Teaser and the Video Bumper are the same. Is that on purpose?

Yes, they are the same except that the Video Teaser, says new series starts next week. Other than that the same video was used for both purposes in this series.

Hey guys – week three says it is about Eli and his three sons, but instead it is about Bathsheba and David – did I miss something?

Call me confused in Niagara Falls NY . . .

Thanks for all that you do!
