Shortcuts

We’ve all made some pretty dumb decisions in our lives. For most of us there are chapters in the past we would like to rewrite. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to reverse the bad decisions of the past. But there is certainly no reason to repeat them either. Join us for a 4-part series entitled “Shortcuts” which focuses our attention on one question that has the power to fool proof our decision making from this point forward.

Stressed Out

We need to mind God’s business, not the business of others who would distract us from our divine purpose. Citing the blind man given sight by Jesus in John 9, we should focus on the divine resolution, rather than the miracle worked. The whys and inequalities of life aren’t important; what’s important is to be ready and able to do God’s work when called upon, to His glory. Resolve to turn away from distractions, such as procrastination, jealousy, addictions, pessimism, etc. which will “come out of the woodwork” to keep us from realizing the unique task He has carved out for each of us.
