Finding God

People often come to church hoping to “find” God. But God is rarely found in the places we might first suspect. God is found in the sacred spaces of this world that reach beyond the walls of church buildings and religious activity. Join us for a new five-week series called “Finding God” as we examine the way we think about encountering God and look through different eyes.

The House

What role should the church play in your life? Does God care whether or not you show up? Do you go to church out of a sense of obligation, does your entire life revolve around the church or do you go to church at all? No matter how you view the church or what role it plays in your life, there is a power and a meaning that can only be realized when you treat God’s house the way he intended. Join us as we tap into those things that are only available in the house of God—community, belonging, and purpose.

Celebrate the Past

Before making a transition to our new facility and location, it’s appropriate to stop and reflect on what God has done in the history of our church that has brought us to this point. Join us as we celebrate the miracles God has done and the lives that have been changed.

Life at the River’s Edge

The book of Joshua begins with the people of Israel gathered on the banks of the Jordan River, preparing to enter into the land that God promised long ago to Abraham and his descendants. Joshua has been here before–forty years earlier. He knows what life at the river’s edge is like and how frightening it can be to some people.
