The Doubt Factor

Doubt is often the “dirty little secret” that Christians don’t want to talk about or admit that they deal with. So what is doubt? Is it something to be “demonized” or is it something to be embraced? According to Scripture, it is neither. Doubt is the soil out of which faith grows. If we ignore [...]

If Only

Regrets. We all have them. A missed opportunity, a poor financial decision, a boundary crossed, a relationship damaged. Life is filled with “if onlys.” Sometimes they haunt us. Sometimes they control us. Sometimes they define us. So how do you handle regret? Do you ignore it? Deny it? Just move on?

Most of the people we look to as models of faith had some “if onlys” in their lives. It was in the midst of their experiences that God became real hope re-ignited. Join us as we explore the faithfulness of God in the midst of life’s regrets.

When it comes to your faith, are you hanging out in the shallow end of the pool? The Bible says that we are to grow to maturity in Christ. But what does that look like? The answer may surprise you. Intervention

We are starting a new series this weekend called Intervention. The series is based on the Old Testament book of Jonah. Jonah is great drama. It involves a man on the run, life-threatening situations, difficult decisions, and a surprise ending – and yes, a big fish! Most important, this little book (four chapters) has some profound things to say about a God who, out of his great love for us, is willing to “intervene” in our lives. Wherever you are in your own spiritual journey, we’re convinced you’ll find hope and help from Jonah.

Why is the DaVinci Code, a novel and movie, something that Christians should even be concerned about? Dan Brown, the author of The DaVinci Code, hurls a number of attacks against the Christian faith. Join us this weekend as we examine these claims.

James

Join us for nine practical principles that James, the brother of Christ, believed were important for the young Christian church, and that are equally important for us today.

Life at the River’s Edge

The book of Joshua begins with the people of Israel gathered on the banks of the Jordan River, preparing to enter into the land that God promised long ago to Abraham and his descendants. Joshua has been here before–forty years earlier. He knows what life at the river’s edge is like and how frightening it can be to some people.

Faith

When the storms of life come your way, who do you turn to? Two thousand years ago, a group of men were on a boat in rough seas when they started to panic. At the same time, Jesus was asleep on the boat. How do you handle the troubles that come your way?
