We spend all that we have and acquire as much as we can, all in an effort to make the most out of life. Is money ever a topic of conversation in your house? Does it feel like you ought to be able to do more with what you make? Is debt mounting up? (Money represents so many things in our culture – success, independence, self-reliance, power, control.) This weekend we start a new series titled, “Finding Financial Freedom.” In this 4-week series we will explore some of the root issues behind our view of money and provides practical tools that enable us to enjoy more fully the resources that God has entrusted to our care.

Regrets. We all have them. A missed opportunity, a poor financial decision, a boundary crossed, a relationship damaged. Life is filled with “if onlys.” Sometimes they haunt us. Sometimes they control us. Sometimes they define us. So how do you handle regret? Do you ignore it? Deny it? Just move on?

Most of the people we look to as models of faith had some “if onlys” in their lives. It was in the midst of their experiences that God became real hope re-ignited. Join us as we explore the faithfulness of God in the midst of life’s regrets.

When it comes to trusting God, we all face barriers that can prevent us from trusting God as we should. Join us as we look at ways overcome these barriers and be trusting, obedient, gracious and generous in order to expand the church and the Kingdom of God.

There are over 2000 verses in the Bible that talk about “bling bling!” That is right. Jesus said more about money then He said about Heaven or Hell. Amazing. And guess what? He didn’t just say give all your money away. That would be silly. Instead, in the Bible God gives us a very understandable, well-rounded approach to handling money. And there has never been a better time to begin handling our money God’s way then right now.

A lot of us are worrying these days. We worry about our finances, our loved ones and about our future. Thankfully, the Bible has a lot to say about worry. Join us for the next three weeks as we talk about worry and ways to enjoy the reason for the season.
