Doubt is often the “dirty little secret” that Christians don’t want to talk about or admit that they deal with. So what is doubt? Is it something to be “demonized” or is it something to be embraced? According to Scripture, it is neither. Doubt is the soil out of which faith grows. If we ignore [...]
Waiti…everybody hates it. Whether it’s traffic on the beltway, a long line at the grocery store, or the fulfillment of a promise, waiting feels like life has been put on hold. It keeps us from getting to the next big thing. But waiting is a part of God’s design. God can do amazing things while we wait.
Overloaded? Maxed out? Our culture encourages us to live as if we have no margin. So we fill up our schedules and empty our bank accounts. Maintaining real-life relationships that are healthy and authentic is challenging. Whether it’s a relationship with your parents, your friends or a stranger, Jesus’ call to “love your neighbor” has huge implications.
The Third Day. It represents hope. It means that our present circumstances do not have to limit our future. It means that change is possible. The Bible proclaims that Jesus rose from the grave on the third day. That ancient text is a reminder that nothing is more powerful than God – not sin, not our past, not even death itself. Because of The Third Day, we can move from darkness into God’s marvelous light. Join us April 7 & 8 for our Easter Services and experience the power of The Third Day in your own life.

You might be in the middle of a career change or searching for a new job. You have to make a number of choices of how you’re going to spend your time. It’s no wonder why we hear people say, “If I just had time! If I just had a few more hours in the day.” So, how do we maximize our time? How we make the most of it? How do we follow the examples of those before us who used their time well? Join us this weekend as we look at time and what really matters.
