In this Communion message, we look at the Why’s of taking Communion; why God established this new practice and why it’s necessary for the faithful to participate. We participate to remember God’s promises to us, to reconnect us with God through Christ the Redeemer, and to reunite us with our Christian family, the Church.

We don’t want to forget that over 2000 years ago, through Jesus’ last Passover meal, God established a new and everlasting covenant with His faithful; one of Grace, Love, and Forgiveness. And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.” Luke 22:19.
