We live in a culture where everything can be recorded. We can instantly record photos, videos, and our immediate thoughts – all on the same device. The narrative of our life is easily captured and distributed. But capturing moments is different than writing a story. Life is to be engaged. It’s doing cool things for all the right reasons. It’s living out not only our own dreams but also the dreams God has for us. When the “sinful woman” in Luke 7 washed Jesus’ feet, she was writing a love story that would be told for the next 2,000 years. Are you recording your life, or are you writing a story? And what kind of story is our life telling? Is it a story of love?
