The Book of Esther is about taking risk. Esther was orphaned, adopted, taken, and made queen. Her uncle Mordecai asked her to risk her life for others. After she accepted the mission to intercede on behalf of the Jews, she enlists the prayers and fasting of a large support group. She waited for the right time to act. While she waited, God was at work preparing the way. When the time was right, she acted, leaving the outcome in God’s hand. (Esther 7:4, 8:3) Whatever God is calling you to do, let go and jump.
